The Distribution Support Group will focus on two key areas, each of which is covered by a Work Group.

Work Group I

Create an efficient network of all the members of the EDFC Distribution Support Group for debate, exchange of ideas and dissemination of information on the commercial aspects of digital distribution and exhibition. Meetings for the Distribution Support Group members will be organized at regular intervals, and our web site will be a key tool for dissemination of information.

Work Group II

Compile, analyse and publish market data. The Distribution Support Group will compile, analyse and publish market data on the emerging European market for digital distribution and exhibition. Knowledge about the market is a prerequisite to understanding new business models. The module will compile and analyse data on market size, supply of feature films in digital format, supply of 'alternative' digital content, supply of documentaries, turnover generated by this digital content, market shares, et cetera.
